We at Vegas Vortex strive to hold events in an affordable way for the community. However, each person’s resources are different, and it is our policy that no one will be turned away for lack of funds at any of our events.

Most of the time, a work exchange can be arranged, which gives the participant 50% off the registration amount. What is expected in return is a contribution of hours that equals the amount discounted. Sometimes the work can be put in ahead of time, and often there is a choice of where to help out.

We consider a work-trade at $15/hour, so if someone is work-trading for an event that costs $120, they will be asked to pay $60, and put in 4 hours work. Keep in mind that our events are supported by their participants, and that everyone contributes in some way.
